It was in the late fall of 2008 that I read Erin Baines and Stephanie Nolen’s story about Dominic Ongwen in a Canadian newspaper. So it took us a year to get our project into public view, and now we’re hoping to pick up speed.
Telling stories on film — and even on the net – takes money, and we are heading out the door hoping to round up enough support to keep expanding this site and its activities, and to begin shooting our film by the middle of 2010. We will be knocking on doors in North America, Asia, Africa and Europe, and if you have any suggestions (or even better, any spare cash), don’t be shy.
As of right now we have no completion date for the film but mid 2011 would be a reasonable guess. By then many interesting things will have happened in the realm of international justice, and we hope to have been there to watch, and to report and discuss.
